Prior to using ProTrend this involved manually reviewing  each gas analysis report and since the prior analysis  history was not easy to find, there typically was no  comparison/trending as a basis for validation. ProTrend  has saved Client X considerable time by automatically  passing the majority of lab analyses and only flagging truly  off trend samples. The greatest benefit from the ProTrend  validation tool for Client X is the improved integrity of  their gas compositions used in SCADA, Chart Integration  and FlowCal. Client X utilize the ProTrend validation tool  as the gate keeper for all analyses by failing suspicious  samples before they are exported, leading to increased  confidence in their gas volumes across the board.

ProTrend has pre-defined analysis exports for  numerous third-party systems, including FlowCal,  Cygnet, chart or SCADA software etc. By exporting  and importing laboratory analyses electronically,  Client X can eliminate time consuming manual entry  of gas analyses and meter data. For example, prior to  utilizing ProTrend, Client X staff members would  spend days manually updating all gas compositions in  Cygnet and FlowCal on a monthly basis.

By loading in meter calibration data and MECRs (meter equipment change reports), Client X use ProTrend as  their one source of truth for all metering devices in the field. This leads to timely updates of meter information  into various third-party systems including FlowCal, Cygnet, and ProChart. This process saves Client X  approximately 2 days of manual spreadsheet entry and data comparisons/updates per month.
